Govardhan Parikrama: A Sacred & Fun Journey
On March 9, 2025, we performed the Govardhan Parikrama, a sacred circumambulation of the Govardhan Hill. Govardhan Hill, situated in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, India.
🔹 Short Parikrama (7 km) – Covering holy sites like Radha Kund, Kusum Sarovar, and Mukharvind.
🔹 Long Parikrama (21 km) – A complete journey around Govardhan Hill, taking almost a full day.
As we walked, we sang bhajans, laughed, and captured many beautiful moments. The spiritual energy of the place was incredible, and with friends, it became even more special!
🎶 The Joy of Kirtan & Prasadam
The Kirtan in Vrindavan was an unforgettable experience. The sound of mridang (drum) and kartal (cymbals) created a mesmerizing atmosphere, and we couldn’t stop dancing!
After the soulful Kirtan, we sat together and enjoyed the sacred prasadam. The makhan-mishri (butter & sugar) and Chappan Bhog (56 Krishna offerings) were delicious, and we had so much fun eating and talking together!
